yesterdayA Massachusetts man has been arrested after police say he bit an officer in East Meadow.
The incident happened at Nassau University Medical Center on Hempstead Turnpike.
News 12 has been told Anthony Gomez was being admitted as a patient when he became aggressive with medical personnel.
Officers at the scene stepped in and that is when police say Gomez bit an officer on the leg.
The officer was treated for his injuries.
Gomez is facing an assault charge.
