A Bellmore man is accused of ordering his pit bull to attack a woman in front of her two young children.

Police say 18-year-old Luis Linares became involved in an argument between two women just before 2 a.m. today. They say Linares took the dog and chased the 32-year-old victim up the stairs to her apartment, ordering the dog to attack her. The victim was bitten on the leg before getting into her apartment.

Then, authorities say Linares punched a 2-foot hole in her door and kept ordering the dog to attack.

The victim's two sons, who are 8 and 10 years old, locked themselves in the bathroom and were not hurt.
