Police are looking for the person responsible for leaving KKK fliers at a home on School Street, as well as on a car on Gardenia Avenue in Hampton Bays last week.
They say whoever left the KKK fliers could be charged with littering.
It's not the first time the East End has seen a KKK recruitment drive. As News 12 has reported, Douglas Munker, of Hampton Bays, was charged with posting KKK fliers at a bank earlier this year. He is a self-professed member of the Ku Klux Klan.
According to Newsday, he took a plea deal last month and was released on the condition he didn't repeat the violation. Police didn't say if they believe he is responsible for the latest rash of fliers.
