Police: 2-mile trail of bloody footprints found at Norwalk Inn
Police say an almost 2-mile trail of bloody footprints ended at the Norwalk Inn Saturday night.
They say staff called 911 around 10:17 p.m. after they noticed the footprints inside and outside of the hotel.
Police say when they arrived, they followed the trail and found an injured guest inside one of the hotel rooms. They say the guest was uncooperative and losing a lot of blood from their foot.
Police say they still don't know who or what caused the injury, but that it was an isolated incident that happened about 2 miles away from the hotel.
According to a statement from the hotel, the man was treated at the hospital and released the next day.
