Police are investigating two separate homicides where the victims have the same home address in Throgs Neck.
On Sunday, Sept. 8, police responded to a 911 call near Shore Drive and Lafayette Avenue, where they found 37-year-old Jacklyn Timinski unconscious and unresponsive.
She was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi but died a week later.
Neighbors tell News 12 a man who claimed to be Timinski’s ex-husband was seen around the home in the days to follow, grieving her death.
Less than a month later, another resident of Timinski’s home died.
On Saturday, Oct. 26, a 911 call brought police to East 149th Street and Third Avenue where they found 51-year-old Juan Boria with a stab wound to his stomach. He later died at NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln.
A few weeks before he died, Boria was arrested and charged with arson and other crimes for burglarizing and setting fire to a home near his and Timinski’s listed address at 1431 Shore Drive
What sort of relationship, if any, between Timinski and Boria could not be confirmed by police, but neighbors report that the illicit activity was often seen at the home where the two lived.
The NYPD arrested 41-year-old Benjamin Lozovsky, of Manhattan, in the death of Timinski and 52-year-old Robert Brent, of Brooklyn, in the death of Boria.
