Police say a man and his wife were arrested after two holdups that took place about 30 minutes apart in Suffolk County. 
According to police, Francisco Gonzalez, of Lindenhurst, and his wife Mary were arrested. 
Police say Gonzalez tried unsuccessfully to rob the OK Petroleum on Route 109 in West Babylon around 6 p.m. Sunday. Then police say he held up a 7-Eleven on Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst. 
Gonzalez and his wife were arrested hours later in Lindenhurst. 
Gonzalez is being arraigned this morning and his wife faces drug charges at a later date.
