Suffolk police arrested a Huntington Station man accused of masturbating in public outside a Northport supermarket Monday.
Ricardo Reyes-Benitez, 28, allegedly touched himself in front of a woman outside of the local Stop and Shop.
Police say the woman was walking in the parking lot at 7:50 a.m. when Reyes-Benitez approached her. He was still there when officers responded to the 911 call and they arrested him on site.
Reyes-Benitez is scheduled for arraignment Tuesday on a charge of public lewdness.
It marks the third arrest for alleged public lewdness in Suffolk County this month. On May 18, police say a man masturbated in front of a student walking near Huntington High School. Another man was charged in multiple lewd incidents at the Smith Haven Mall.
