2h agoA Hempstead man was arrested for allegedly crashing into a NICE bus in Uniondale while intoxicated.
Police say the bus broke down just before 5 a.m. on Hempstead Turnpike. They say Christian Escobar turned on his hazard lights and then crashed into the back of the bus.
Escobar was arrested and charged with DWI.
Escobar, his passenger and the bus driver all suffered minor injuries.
