Police say a masked gunman held up workers at a Bronx college and made off with thousands of dollars.
The gunman, who police say was dressed in black, allegedly carried out the robbery Thursday evening in the Bronx Community College cafeteria. Police say no one was hurt during the incident, but a public safety officer at the school says the gunman escaped with $12,000.
The cafeteria was closed to the public at the time of the robbery, but the gunman is alleged to have entered through a back door.
"I think they should have more security to not let this happen, it's very dangerous," says Katherine Feliz, a student at the school.
Police say their investigation is ongoing. School officials say things on campus have returned to normal.
