Nassau County police say a Garden City Park woman was arrested for stealing a sacred religious book in New Hyde Park that belonged to the local Sihk community.

Detectives say they determined that Prabhleen Kaur, 37, was illegally in possession of the religious item.

The religious book was located and given back to the Sikh community.

Kaur is charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree.
