State police say they arrested an East Meadow woman early Sunday morning for driving drunk and speeding with her two children in tow.
Troopers say they stopped 31-year-old Drainne Whitelocke in the eastbound lanes on the Southern State Parkway shortly after 1 a.m. They say she had been driving 80 mph and had failed to maintain her lane.
Whitelocke's two children, ages 8 and 14, were in the vehicle.
Police say Whitelocke failed sobriety tests and was arrested for DWI under Leandra's Law, a felony.
