Police in North Bellmore are searching for a driver who hit a teen boy on his bike and fled.

Police released new pictures this morning of the vehicle wanted in connection with the incident.

It happened Tuesday morning at the intersection of Saw Mill Road and Jerusalem Avenue.

According to police, the 14-year-old was crossing the road when he was hit by a white colored van.

The crash caused two black panels on the suspect's van to fall off. The boy is expected to be OK, but has broken bones, cuts and bruises.
