Police say a driver has died
after a car flew off the road, hit a tree and burst into flames.
The incident happened on
Whiskey Road at Rocky Point Road in Middle Island just before midnight.
Police say the driver was the only person in the car.
There is no word yet on the
person’s identity or what caused the driver to lose control.
