2ds agoA driver is facing charges after allegedly crashing into a Riverhead police cruiser.
Police say the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Saturday on West Main Street near Kromer Avenue.
Officials say the officer was approaching the intersection when his car was hit by another vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Marlon Uz-Cubule.
Neither Uz-Cubule or the officer were injured.
Uz-Cubule is now charged with aggravated DWI and several other traffic violations.
Police say the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Saturday on West Main Street near Kromer Avenue.
