A late-night argument in Crown Heights turned deadly, and police say the person responsible is still on the run.

The incident happened just after 11 p.m. Tuesday in front of 1140 Eastern Parkway.

Police have now identified the victim as 38-year-old Terrence Smith, of Brownsville.

Investigators say Smith was stabbed in the abdomen during what started as a dispute. He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he later died.

Police sources tell News 12 the man was arguing with a woman before things turned physical. They say she pulled out a knife, stabbed him and then ran off.

She was last seen wearing a black tracksuit and a multi-colored bonnet.

Right now, it’s still unclear what led up to the argument or if the two knew each other.

Video from the scene shows police tape up and investigators going through the area overnight, with an ambulance parked nearby as crews responded.

As of now, there have been no arrests.
