Police say a crucifix was stolen from a Nassau County church.
They say a person or group of people stole the 12-inch gold crucifix from the Holy Redeemer Church on South Ocean Avenue in Freeport on Oct. 3 or 4.
The crucifix is worth $900.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
