4h agoA toddler was rescued from a public pool in Patchogue on Thursday.
Police say the toddler jumped into a pool at the Patchogue Beach Club on Maiden Lane and was struggling under water for about 10 seconds.
Someone pulled the toddler out.
News 12 has been told the child was alert but had trouble breathing.
Responding officers gave him oxygen, and the boy was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Police say the child was with a parent when it happened.
