A driver sustained minor injuries on Sunday morning when his car overturned on the Long Island Expressway.

Police say the accident occurred just after 11:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes near Exit 49N.

Police say only one car was involved. It was not immediately known if the driver was alone in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
