A car was cut in half following a crash in West Babylon overnight, police say.
The incident happened on a westbound service road on Sunrise Highway.
The trunk of the car was left in the middle of the road after police say the driver crashed into snapped a utility pole.
News 12 is told the driver and anyone inside fled the scene before officials arrived.
There is no word on any injuries.Police are continuing to investigate.
