Police are searching for a California man they say is wanted in connection to a Valley Stream murder.
They are looking for 50-year-old Deon Ewers, of Los Angeles. Police say he shot the 34-year-old boyfriend of his estranged wife in her house on East Hawthorne Avenue just before 7 a.m. Friday.
Homicide detectives say Ewers and his estranged wife were living with each other up until a year ago.
Authorities say Ewers should be considered armed and dangerous.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
