The body of the man who fell overboard while fishing with his son over the Fourth of July weekend was found Thursday in Northport Bay, police say.
According to authorities, Christopher Calma rented a 22-foot boat on July 3 and went out with his 14-year-old son, but fell overboard and went missing around 9:30 a.m. in Northport Harbor.
The search for the 50-year-old was eventually called off by the Coast Guard, but Suffolk police continued to patrol the area.
Police say Calma was not wearing a life jacket.
