A Bellport woman is facing charges for allegedly driving
drunk and hitting a police cruiser.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. Friday in Patchogue.
Sylvia Ebiware hit an officer’s vehicle when he was stopped in traffic on East
Main Street, police say.
The officer was taken to the hospital for treatment and released.
The 44-year-old suspect is expected to be arraigned later today.
