Few details about the incident have been released. However, authorities say it occurred just after midnight in Bellmore and involved both the ambulance and a Subaru.
Police say the accident resulted in four minor injuries. It is currently unclear if the injured were originally in the car or the ambulance.
Authorities say the cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
