Police cracked down on drunken drivers in both counties Wednesday night.
Southampton Town police tell News 12 that they screened 56 drivers and arrested six.
Riverhead police say they made four arrests.
County police in both Nassau and Suffolk also held checkpoints and stepped up enforcement.
Nassau police say they made 19 DWI arrests between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday. There was no information immediately available from Suffolk police.
