Police in Suffolk County have arrested the man they believe sexually assaulted a teen after attempting to rob her and three other girls.
Justin Bacher, 27, has been charged with attempted robbery, sexual abuse and unlawful imprisonment.
Authorities held a massive manhunt Wednesday night after a man attempted to rob the four teenagers in Miller Place. They say the armed suspect approached the kids near the Andrew Muller Primary School on Lower Rocky Point Road.
Investigators say when Bacher realized the teens did not have money, he grabbed one of the girls. Authorities say Bacher forced the girl into a wooded area and sexually assaulted her. According to police, the girl was able to escape and alert authorities.
