Police have arrested two people in a string of burglaries on Long Island.
Police say between January and last month, Johana Gomez and Jorge Guevara, of Queens, burglarized 21 homes in 11 different Nassau locations stealing cash and jewelry.
According to police, they caught the suspects yesterday trying to break into a home on Foxglove Road in Merrick.
