Suffolk police say they arrested an Amityville man who was driving in Copiague with 38 suspensions on his license.

They say 68-year-old James Brown was stopped for a broken tail light around 10 a.m. on Ferraris Street.

A check of his license revealed 38 suspensions on 12 different dates, according to police.

Brown's vehicle was impounded and he was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, a felony.
