Police: 80-year-old man struck, killed in Garden City

An 80-year-old pedestrian was killed while crossing a busy road in Garden City.
Detectives say Richard Bakalor was hit by a Toyota that was making a right from Kellum Place onto Old Country Road this morning.
He suffered fatal head injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and won't be charged.
