Police say a 6-year-old girl was struck by a car Wednesday afternoon in Woodmere.
The incident happened on Bernard Avenue around 1:45 p.m. Police say a 39-year-old woman was driving her 2015 Infiniti down the street when she side-swiped the girl, who was crossing near Poe Street.
The girl suffered injuries not considered life-threatening and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Her identity has not been released.
Police say the driver stayed at the scene and has not been charged.
