Police say an 18-year-old was attacked by five men in Westbury early Saturday morning.

They say the victim was walking near 125 Post Ave. when he was approached. He claims the suspects hit him with bats and hammers before fleeing in a Nissan Murano and a white Acura.

The victim has serious injuries to his head and legs and was transported to the hospital.
