Police: 4 teens spotted on surveillance video running out of Broadway Mall after fire breaks out

Nassau police say smoke was coming from the hallway behind the concession stands in the mall's food court.

Nassau police say a fire broke out at the Broadway Mall Friday night.
They say smoke was coming from the hallway behind the concession stands in the food court. Police say everyone was safely evacuated and no one was injured.
Detectives say four teenagers were seen on surveillance video running from the fire and down an escalator. They say the teens then exited the mall and took off in an unknown direction.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
