Four teens were injured, one of them seriously, when a vehicle crashed into a home in Bay Shore early Saturday morning, police say.

Four teens were injured, one of them seriously, when a vehicle crashed into a home in Bay Shore early Saturday morning, police say.
It happened shortly after 1 a.m. on Bay Shore Road near the intersection of Thomspon Drive.
Suffolk police say 16-year-old Juan Hernandez was heading west in a Jeep with several passengers when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the home located at 1352 Thomson Drive.
Hernandez was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center with minor injuries. Suffolk police say he was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Two passengers in the Jeep, ages 15 and 17, were hospitalized with minor injuries, while another teen, age 16, was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Police say the vehicle was impounded for a safety check and their investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
