Nassau police have arrested four people who they say broke into vehicles in Wantagh on Tuesday.
Police say officers responded to a call of multiple people going through parked cars on Lawrence Drive. Officers then located a stolen Jaguar that matched the description of one the suspect's vehicles, which was involved in a prior accident on Oakfield Avenue in North Bellmore.
According to police, three male suspects fled the scene on foot. Patrol officers and the K-9 unit began a search for the suspects at which time they noticed a black Honda Accord circling the area in a suspicious manor. Authorities were able to apprehend the driver, Linette Kay Richards, of Elmont.
Richards along with Jean Renoldson, of Brooklyn, Honore Philippeaux, of Brooklyn, and Omary Black, of Springfield Gardens, were arrested.
Police say the four suspects have also been charged with larcenies in connection to other incidents in Wantagh and Searingtown. In addition, they are facing a number of other charges, including criminal possession of a stolen vehicle and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
