The NYPD is searching for three men who taunted a Muslim woman on a New York City subway train Thursday.
Police say the incident occurred at 10 p.m. Thursday after the 18-year-old victim and the suspects boarded a train in Manhattan.
Yasmin Seweid says three men taunted her by yelling "Donald Trump," then grabbed her hijab and her purse and called her a terrorist.
Reports say Seweid got off the train at Grand Central Terminal and reported the incident to police.
She says no one on the train came to her aid while she was being harassed.
On Facebook, Seweid posted, "No matter how 'cultured' or 'Americanized' I am, these people don't see me as an American. It breaks my heart that so many individuals chose to be bystanders while watching me get harassed verbally and physically by these disgusting pigs."
