Police have arrested three men following a home invasion in Center Moriches last night.
According to police, the men were armed were baseball bats and a handgun, and entered a residence on Amanda Way through an unlocked garage door around 10:20 p.m.
The men confronted the homeowners and stole jewelry, cash and a cellphone, police say.
Police say a description of the men was released over police radio. A short time later, the car was spotted on the Southern State Parkway in Bay Shore.
Police have charged Akim Adams, 26, Alexander Vaughnn, 29, of Brooklyn, and George Bidi, of Brooklyn, with burglary in the first degree.
