Police: 28-year-old man killed in Lindenhurst house fire

Fire officials say a 28-year-old died when a fire tore through a Lindenhurst home early Sunday morning.

Fire officials say a 28-year-old died when a fire tore through a Lindenhurst home early Sunday morning.
It happened at 596 North Kings Ave. around 3:15 a.m.
Lindenhurst Fire Department and three other departments responded. It took about an hour to get the flames under control.
Police say when they arrived, a man and a woman had escaped the home.
They say their son, 28-year-old Gioacchino Pagano, was found dead in his bedroom.
