Police: 24-year-old Bronx man was on plane that made emergency landing on LI parkway

Just before noon, New York State Police responded to a call for a single-engine plane landing on the Southern State Parkway on Long Island.

Officials say a Bronx resident was on the plane that made an emergency plane landing on a Long Island parkway Tuesday.
Just before noon, New York State Police responded to a call for a single-engine plane landing on the Southern State Parkway on Long Island.
Authorities say 24-year-old Anthony Lanni, of the Bronx, was one of two people on that plane. Officials say both were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
State police are still investigating the cause of the plane's emergency.
