Suffolk police say a 21-year-old man was hospitalized with injuries following a shooting in Middle Island early Sunday morning.

Police: 21-year-old man injured in Middle Island shooting
Suffolk police say a 21-year-old man was hospitalized with injuries following a shooting in Middle Island early Sunday morning.
Officers say they responded to a 911 call around 3 a.m. reporting that a man had been shot at a store inside of the strip mall located at 200 Middle Country Road.
Suffolk police say the shooting happened "during a party."
The victim, identified as Middle Island resident Domain Martin, was taken by private vehicle to Mather Memorial Hospital, police say. His injuries weren't considered life-threatening.
