Detectives: Fiery LIE crash leaves 75-year-old woman seriously injured in Dix Hills

Suffolk County detectives say two vehicles collided at the intersection of South Service Road and Half Hollow Road in Dix Hills just before noon on Tuesday.

Suffolk detectives say a 75-year-old Kings Park woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Half Hollow Road and South Service Road in Dix Hills.
They say the Dix Hills Fire Department responded after the woman's 2021 Lexus SUV caught fire.
Detectives say the second driver, Yongming Zhu, 70, of Wheatley Heights, was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital for injuries not considered life threatening.
Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call the Second Squad at 631-852-8252.
