Police are searching for two women accused of stealing a car early Monday in Wantagh.

Detectives say a 56-year-old man parked his gray Toyota RAV4 at the McDonald's on Wantagh Avenue around 1:30 a.m.

While he was walking up to the building, police say two women got into the vehicle and drove away.

They drove off with his wallet and assorted paperwork.

The license plate is KYU6194.
