Police are asking for the public’s help locating two people who robbed a man at knifepoint Monday in New Cassel.

Detectives say the duo were wearing surgical masks and riding a single bicycle near the scene around 6:30 a.m.

They approached the victim as he was walking on Monitor Street and Roman Avenue.

Police say one of the men pointed a small knife at him when he refused to give them cash.

The victim then gave them his backpack, which contained money and multiple personal items.
