According to police, they responded to a Shot Spotter activation on Hudson Avenue and when they got there they saw a Nissan leaving the scene.
Officers followed the car and conducted a traffic stop.
Matthew Chery, 19, and Jahsire May were both taken into police custody when a silver handgun was recovered from the car.
