Two men from Queens are facing charges for a robbery Sunday at the Nutty Irishman in Farmingdale, according to police.

Authorities say the incident began around 1 a.m. when 18-year-old Robert Nemtzian and 23-year-old Edward Nemtzian approached the bar at 323 Main St.

After Robert was denied entry for using a fake ID, he allegedly pushed past a male employee and took $100 from the top of a cash register.

He is then accused of trying to push the employee to the ground and steal additional cash from his hand. Police say Robert and Edward fled the scene once the attempt failed.

They were both arrested a short time later and charged with robbery. Robert was also charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Authorities say the two are scheduled to be arraigned Sunday in Hempstead.
