are searching for two drivers who hit and killed a man in Copiague and then
took off.
Detectives
say Gacia Laroche, of Amityville, was crossing Sunrise Highway at the
intersection of Bayview Avenue when he was hit by a Chevrolet pick-up truck
just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police say that driver stayed on the
scene.
However,
police say Laroche was then hit by two other vehicles that left the scene.
Laroche,
52, was killed.
