3h agoNassau police say two people were arrested after a young child was left alone in a car at the Americana Manhasset mall Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities say they responded to a 911 call involving a child who was left in a hot car just after 2:30 p.m.
They say the child was alone in the car for at least 30 minutes in 80 degree weather.
Police say the child is approximately 1 year old.
It's unclear at this time what charges the two people may face and their identities weren't released.
Nassau police say the child was taken the hospital and is going to be OK.
