Police: 16-year-old hit by SUV in Hewlett in stable condition

Police say a 16-year-old was hit by an SUV while riding his bike in Hewlett.  

News 12 has been told the teen was riding down Station Plaza toward Franklin Avenue when the bike and a Range Rover collided.

Police say the teen suffered a broken arm and multiple cuts and bruises on his arms, legs and head.

The 49-year-old woman driving the Range Rover stayed on the scene and is not facing any charges.
