A 12-year-old boy riding a bicycle was seriously hurt after being hit by a pickup truck, according to police.

10h agoLaw enforcement officials say the truck was on Grove Avenue near Carman Street in East Patchogue when it struck the boy. The incident took place Tuesday just before 3 p.m.
The 12-year-old was hospitalized with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
