The holiday season is in full swing, and there are plenty of ways you can celebrate across Long Island.
They are having their annual “Home for the Holidays” celebration this weekend.
On both Saturday and Sunday attendees will be treated to Christmas music, crafts for children and a visit from the Grinch!
They'll also have the opportunity to tour Coe Hall, festively decorated with indigenous trees and plants from the property.
"We have essentially taken what's outside and brought it in to really showcase Planting Fields at its core, which is exciting," explained Kayla Cheshire, marketing manager for the Planting Fields Foundation.
The indigenous tree in the dining room tree is decorated with pine cone ornaments transformed in to woodland creatures by local students.
Be sure to wear a festive, "ugly sweater" for a candy cane.
Tickets must be purchased in advance for Home for the Holidays, which will run from 12 to 5 on Saturday, December 16 and Sunday, December 17.
