News 12 Long Island has learned that plans are in place to rebuild a waterfront co-op in Westhampton Beach that burned to the ground.
A massive blaze left the Sandpiper on Dune Road in a pile of ashes.
The connected summer homes had no residents inside when the fire broke out in April last year.
Residents tell News 12 that plans have been drawn up to rebuild the complex.
News 12 has learned the plan is still pending health department approval, but construction could begin by September.
