A controversial plan to put solar panels on an East End sod farm has been approved by The Town of Brookhaven.
Residents at a meeting last night tell News 12 that the planning board unanimously approved the project.
The plan calls for 50,000 solar panels to be placed on 60 acres of DeLalio's sod farm in Shoreham.
Some residents don't approve of the plan saying they're concerned about their health and property values.
